Join GirlTrek's founders, Morgan Dixon & Vanessa Garrison, along with thousands of sisters across the country for an epic 21-day walking meditation to remember where we came from and to gather strength for the road ahead. We’re celebrating one Black woman in history each day and using her story and lessons to help guide us through these uncertain times. Each and every day, we will convene a conversation with thousands of you, by phone to stay connected, have fun, and organize a national agenda.
If you missed any of the days, no worries! We got you! You can start at any time. Click here to register and get everything you need to start your BLACK HISTORY BOOTCAMP
GirlTrek is leading a special initiative to honor the legacies of our Black mothers and foremothers who blessed us with their wisdom, healing practices and self-care traditions: a blueprint to survive. This is what #DaughtersOf is all about.
With a goal to motivate one million Black women to practice radical self-care, the Daughters Of multi-media campaign will examine the immediate and critical importance of self-care and healing for Black women through the lens of their matrilineal traditions.
In the footsteps of a civil rights legacy, GirlTrek is the largest public health nonprofit that activates thousands of Black women to be change makers in their lives and communities – through radical sweat, critical self-reflection, and the bonds of sisterhood.
GirlTrek is calling on a million Black women to reclaim holistic lives rooted in wellness and radical self-care. Join the movement today at GirlTrek.org
