Our GirlTREK private Facebook groups connect GirlTREK women to sisterhood and accountability. As a lifeline to many sisters, having Group Rules in these safe and sacred spaces is imperative.
Great group rules are more than just a list of what's not allowed. They tell members what is encouraged in the group so they know how to engage positively with the community.
You should regularly post the group's rules to remind members of the rules for sisterly engagement.
Here are the instructions on how to Create Group Rules:
- You must be an Admin on the page. (Please get in touch with the Care Team to get approval to make changes.)
- Click “Group Rules” in the left bar of the City page group.
- Click “Create” to update your city page's rules.
Sometimes, verbal conflicts may arise. Here is a helpful resource if you are having a difficult time managing member conflict. Of course, you can contact GirlTREK's Care Team at Care@GirlTREK.org if you need suggestions or help or want to bring a matter to our attention.
It is our goal to always model GirlTREK's mission. Thanks for sharing and reminding members about GirlTREK's Best Practices.
