All women who believe in our mission to inspire and uplift 1 Million Black women to walk in the direction of their healthiest and most fulfilled life are welcome to be a part of our movement.
Our women who hosts walks are volunteers. Beautiful sisters like you who are out in their community sharing the trails and practicing self-care.
Most of the women who hosts walks, list them on our national map, making it easy for sisters to search their area to see if there are any walks they can join. On the walk event, the location and description about the walk is included. This is where you must do your research and see if it's conducive to your ability, or desire.
When planning on joining a GirlTrek walk, no matter if you have a disability or not, we encourage you to visit GirlTrek.org to find a walk and do research on the location and terrain to determine if it's a walk you want to attend. If you find a walk that you would like to join, please RSVP to the walk online to let the walk host know that you will be joining them.
We are so grateful that you are a part of our movement and are looking forward to following you journey.
Remember to #hashtag #GirlTrek in all your beautiful healthy sweaty selfies.
Thanks for loving the movement!
