Join us at sunrise on Saturday, October 26th, for a special rally for joy and justice in Atlanta. This rally is not just an event; it is part of GirlTREK’s refounding moment. We will stand together to declare our new mission to the world and renew our commitment to each other. As the sun rises, so too will the collective power of Black women. In this three-hour event, we will reignite our movement with the energy of a wellness revival and a victory celebration.
Q1. Where is the rally happening?
This sacred gathering will be held in Atlanta, in the Dunwoody perimeter area. The exact location is being kept under wraps, and you will receive the specific address 48 hours before the event. Trust that you’ll step into something transformative and powerful when you arrive.
Q2. Is GirlTREK supporting travel?
While we’re not covering travel expenses, we encourage you to get creative: carpool with your sisters, hop on a bus, crash on a friend’s couch, or, if you prefer, book a hotel nearby. We’ve got you covered with some solid hotel recommendations for base camp:

This rally is a gift to you. It’s free—an offering for all women ready to walk boldly with us in this moment of refounding GirlTREK.

This is an intimate gathering for the committed. All participants must register individually. Invite your sisters, but make sure each one registers so we can be ready to welcome every heart and soul.
Q5. Do I have to be a GirlTREK member to attend?
No, this experience is open to everyone. You belong here whether you’re a long-time trekker or new to the family. Register for this once-in-a-lifetime event here.
Q6. Is the rally venue accessible for those with mobility issues?
Yes, the venue is accessible, and we will accommodate participants with mobility challenges.
Q7. Will there be parking available at the rally location?
Please arrive early to secure parking. We will provide details on parking options closer to the event.
Q8. What is the attire for the rally?
Dress comfortably and in layers, as we will be outdoors early in the morning. GirlTREK gear is encouraged!
Q9. What should I bring?
Bring yourself—fully present and ready to receive. Dress comfortably for the outdoors and prepare for the early morning air. Please bring along a yoga mat, as well. This is a moment to be spiritually and physically in tune with your sisters.
Q10. What time does the event start and end?
We rise with the sun. Be positioned by 7:45 AM to welcome the light and start the ceremony. The rally concludes at 11:00 AM, followed by a free farmers’ market-style lunch where the spirit of sisterhood continues to bloom.

The event will proceed rain or shine. Please check the weather in Atlanta and bring any necessary rain gear or sun protection.

The rally ends at 11:00 a.m., but we’re closing with a free farmers’ market-style lunch. It’s more than just a meal—it’s an opportunity to break bread and share in the powerful stories that will unfold that morning.

Absolutely. This is a chance to be shoulder-to-shoulder with Morgan, Vanessa, and the entire national team. You’ll feel their energy and leadership guiding the day, and there will be moments to connect.
