Harriet House Parties are a beautiful celebration of sisterhood and a real way to inspire your friends and family to join you on the journey to health. These gatherings are opportunities for women to reflect on their personal health, set goals for the year, and make commitments to hold each other accountable.
2. WHEN DO WE HOST OUR HARRIET HOUSE PARTIES?
Each year on March 10th, Harriet Tubman Day, GirlTrek invites Black women around the world to gather in their homes, community space, or a restaurant, with friends and family, for a Harriet House Party.
3. IS THERE A HARRIET HOUSE PARTY TOOLKIT?
We have a house party toolkit that includes activities for the party, recipes, playlist and more. If you are an old-school Trekker then you already know, but first you need to register to host your party here and get your toolkit now!
4. WHY DO WE HAVE HARRIET HOUSE PARTIES?
We are facing a health crisis of epic proportion and we HAVE to save ourselves by learning the practical way forward. Once we succeed, THEN we can use that know-how to save our families and communities. Like Harriet, each of us has the power to be guiding lights - heroes in our households. THUS, HARRIET HOUSE PARTIES!

Visit GirlTrek.org and click on Connect To The Movement to find a group near you. Once you are in the group, introduce yourself and let sisters know you are looking for a Harriet House Party to join.
